Saturday Festival play at the Pickleball Event in Southampton

As part of the Southampton Pickleball Event, this is a one day Festival Pass for the Saturday.

The event is at David Lloyd Southampton, which is very accessible being close to the M27 & M3.

This event has all your usual festival fun across some of the 22 courts at the event. 

The registration fee for the event is £30.

• Registration from 9.00am onwards
• Courts 9am-6pm

Festival play is free for all tournament players at the event that day.

The event is being organised by Steve Beale & Simon Farr.

THE VENUE

The Event will be held at David Lloyd Southampton, Off Browhill Way, Frogmore Lane. Southampton, Hampshire, SO16 0XS.

All 22 courts will be used for play from 09:00 to 18:00. Some courts will be allocated to other divisions within the event, including doubles tournament play.

There is a water fountain, café, changing rooms and showers within the club. Car parking is free all day.

The Festival will provide refreshments such as squash, bananas and biscuits.

FESTIVAL FORMAT

• The majority of play will follow a festival style of friendly play.  
• For first timers, you ask at the admin table to be allocated to a court and when the court frees up, you and 3 others play a game to 11, win by 1 before freeing the court up for the next players.  
• Courts will be arranged for players of all experience and ability levels to get close games with players at a similar level.  This includes beginners, as a festival format is the perfect introduction to playing at an event.
• You can play with and against people you choose to play with, by letting us know at the admin board. You can ask as a group when you request a court or be paired up with some new friends in the making!

FESTIVAL SCHEDULE

Check-in will open at 09.00 and the courts will be in use continuously until just before 18.00.

By purchasing entry, you agree to the following:

• Cancellation and refund requests must be made at least 15 days before the start of the event. 
• Registration fees are non-refundable but division entry fees will be refunded up to the date of registration closing.
• Tournament organisers can combine divisions and move players between divisions.
• By attending the event, participants acknowledge the potential for property loss or personal injury as a result of the activity, and agree not to hold the activity provider liable in the event of a dispute.
