Mens 4.0+ Doubles at JOOLA Pickleball Tournament in Brighton

University of Sussex, Sportcentre Rd, Falmer, Brighton BN1 9RB

As part of the JOOLA Pickleball Tournament in Brighton, this is the 4.0+ Mens Doubles on the Saturday.

The event is at Sussex University, which is easily accessible being close to the A27 & A23.

The player registration fee for the each doubles division is £25 per player.

  • Courts 9am-6pm

The event is being organised by Steve Beale & Simon Farr.


The Event will be held at University of Sussex, BN1 9RB.

All 9 courts will be used for play from 09:00 to 18:00.

There is a water fountain, changing rooms and showers within the sports centre.

Car parking is free all day.

The Tournament will provide refreshments such as squash, bananas and biscuits.


Nine divisions. Six Saturday (gender doubles) and three Sunday (mixed doubles).


Men’s doubles at “Up to 3.0”,  “3.5” and “4.0 and over”.

Women’s doubles at “Up to 3.0”,  “3.5” and “4.0 and over”.


Mixed doubles at “Up to 3.0”,  “3.5” and “4.0 and over”.

The entry fee for each doubles division is £25 per player.


Competition starts at 09.00 and concludes by 18:00.

All divisions: Round Robin Group Stage followed by Final Ranking Play-Offs.

No elimination. Guaranteed minimum 6 matches.


Each player must register for the specific event they wish to compete in.

By purchasing entry, you agree to the following:

  • Cancellation and refund requests must be made at least 15 days before the start of the event. 
  • All refunds for cancellations prior to 15 days before the event will be made minus a £5 fee to cover transaction fees & admin fees. Cancellations really ruin the schedule.
  • Tournament organisers can combine divisions and move players between divisions, as this can be necessary for a round robin to function.
  • By attending the event, participants acknowledge the potential for property loss or personal injury as a result of the activity, and agree not to hold the activity provider liable in the event of a dispute.
